Privacy Policy
This is what Cadence collects, why, and what happens to it — in plain language, because that's how we'd want it explained to us.
What we collect
- Account basics from Google sign-in: your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Your creator profile: the setup answers (what you do, audience, gear, location, tone) — used only to personalize the AI's output for you.
- Your content: ideas, briefs, scripts, clips, comments, and calendar entries you create.
- Usage counters: how many AI calls you make per day and activity timestamps, used for service limits and to understand whether Cadence is useful.
- Access requests: if you ask for an invite on our landing page, we keep the name, email, and note you submit.
What we never do
- No ads, no ad tracking, no analytics cookies following you around.
- We never sell your data or your content. To anyone.
- Your content is not used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
Who can see your content
You, and only the people you explicitly share your calendar with — at the permission level you chose (view, suggest, or edit). You can unshare or change roles anytime in Settings.
Services we rely on
These process data on our behalf, only as needed to run Cadence:
- Supabase — database and file storage (hosting your account, ideas, and clips).
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic — when you tap an AI feature, the idea text and your creator profile are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the brief. Anthropic doesn't train on this API data.
- Google Drive — only if you link it, and only with the narrow permission to manage files Cadence itself creates (your “Cadence clips” folder). We can never browse the rest of your Drive. Unlink anytime.
- Resend — sends notification emails (comments, shares, invitations) from madewithcadence.com.
Cookies
Only what sign-in requires: session cookies that keep you logged in. Nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Retention and deletion
- Your data stays while your account is active. Clips backed up to your Drive are removed from our storage roughly 30 days after creation.
- Delete your account in Settings and your profile, ideas, clips, comments, and connections are removed from our systems. Files already in your own Google Drive remain yours.
- Database backups age out on a rolling basis (currently 14 days).
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is enforced row-by-row at the database level, and Drive tokens are stored server-side where no browser can read them. No system is perfect; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you promptly.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, we'll say so in the app or by email. Questions or deletion requests: falu@falucreative.com.
