Terms of Service

Cadence is a content production tool operated by Falu Creative (“we,” “us”). It helps creators plan content ideas, develop them with AI assistance, record clips, and collaborate on calendars. By creating an account or using Cadence, you agree to these terms.

Beta service

Cadence is in a private beta. Access is by invitation or approved request, and features may change, break, or be removed as the product evolves. We'll treat your work with care, but you should keep copies of anything you can't afford to lose — the built-in download and Google Drive backup features exist for exactly that.

Your account

• You sign in with a Google account and must be on the member list.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• We can suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service, other members, or these terms.

Your content is yours

Ideas, scripts, clips, comments — everything you make in Cadence belongs to you. You give us only the limited license needed to operate the service: storing your content, showing it to you and to people you explicitly share your calendar with, backing it up to your own Google Drive when you link one, and processing it through our AI provider when you use the AI features. We don't use your content for anything else, and we never sell it.

AI features

“Develop with AI” and the series generator produce drafts — suggestions, not facts or professional advice. Review what they write before you rely on it or publish it. AI usage is metered (currently 30 calls per day per member) to keep the service sustainable.

Storage and clips

• Clips are limited per idea and capped at 100 MB per file.
• When you link Google Drive, clips are copied to a folder you own, and our copy is removed roughly 30 days after the clip was created. Un-linked accounts keep clips in Cadence storage.
• Download your footage to your device or Drive — that's the intended workflow, and your edit-ready files should live with you.

Acceptable use

Don't use Cadence to store or produce content that's unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that harasses the people you share calendars with. Don't probe, overload, or attempt to break the service.

No warranty; limits on liability

Cadence is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Falu Creative isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost content, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (currently: nothing, since the beta is free).

Ending things

You can delete your account anytime in Settings — that removes your data from our systems (files already backed up to your own Drive stay yours). We can end or pause the service or your access with reasonable notice where practical.

Changes

We'll update these terms as Cadence grows (for example, when paid plans launch). Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and continuing to use Cadence after that means you accept them.
